We transformed an old library building in Leamington Spa into chic loft-style apartments. We handled everything from naming the property to crafting its brand identity and visual style, making sure the project was a hit from start to finish.
Welcome to one of our favourite projects! We had the pleasure of branding an old library building in Leamington Spa, transformed into chic loft-style apartments.
Property Naming: We naturally developed the name "Headline House" from the building’s library heritage. Playing with print and book references, the name captures the essence of its history while hinting at a new story.
Brand Strategy: Our brand strategy celebrated the building’s past and its exciting new chapter as modern living spaces. We aimed to create a brand that resonates with residents who appreciate both history and contemporary style.
Brand Identity and Visual Styling: We created a visual identity that nods to the building's library roots. Think torn pages, magazine collages, and zines – all elements that give the property a playful and refined design style. We added a touch of grunge to reflect the industrial loft style and the texture of book pages and newspapers. The logo features a mix of serif and sans serif fonts, reminiscent of old newspapers and book prints, ensuring a touch of nostalgia and readability.
Tone of Voice: The tone of voice for Headline House plays on newspaper and book themes, using references like starting a new chapter, making headlines, and telling stories. This approach ties back to the library’s heritage and adds a charming touch to the brand communication.
Roll Out: From the launch events to social media campaigns, we managed the entire roll out process. Every aspect of the brand was aligned to make Headline House an inviting and stylish place to live.
From start to finish, we ensured that Headline House wasn’t just another renovation, but a delightful blend of history and modern living.
